| RSI's Mission
Statement: "Safety Through Education"
Who is the real leader in the field of RF technical services? Many
claim to be, but how many really know radio and RF from the tower
down? In fact, RSI technical staff is authorized to conduct FCC
commercial radio exams. RSI has formulated technical reports and
safety plans for virtually every type of organization, from small
companies to multi-national corporations, utility groups, site management,
Cell/PCS and government entities. RSI has staff members that climb
towers, performing vertical assessments, and conduct many different
training courses. Since ay one, RSI also has an on the air broadcast
radio division group that the RF staff maintains. See the following:

Many companies also claim to be the leader in RF safety, but how
many of these firms actually have had a safety services group since
their start? Over the past years, our instructors have trained thousands
of people in live technical and safety classes; RSI’s senior
trainers have over 25 years each in real world RF experience. Our
courses are approved by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene
and are also approved for continuing education points, CME and re-certification
credits from the Society of Broadcast Engineers. RSI also has a
technical staff that is authorized to provide testing for ETA, conduct
FCC commercial radio exams, are Certified Utility Safety Administrators
(CUSA) and American Safety & Health Institute instructors. Our
RF staff have evaluated thousands of RF sites and written numerous
site-specific reports as required by OSHA, the FCC, Motorola and
others. RSI’s work is backed with professional liability insurance
covering all your RF and safety issues. Ask the others how they
back their services.
Our staff members wrote their first safety plans back in the 1970’s
and their first RFR programs over twenty years ago. In fact, RSI
senior managers have been performing site assessments and teaching
technical and safety for decades. RSI’s corporate safety staff
“wrote the book” on RF site assessments and our Superior
Survey Techniques™ class is taught using this textbook at
NWOSU. RSI has an antenna test range setup at its university location
used in teaching this course.
If you have a technical/safety/compliance issue and aren’t
sure how to resolve it, call RSI. Creativity, flexibility and a
“can do” attitude have made RSI the forerunner in problem
resolution. Our staff members will work with you to understand your
unique situation and then bring you options that will provide long-term
solutions, not just a quick fix and a “see you later”.
If you need a safety partner to work WITH your organization, RSI
is a firm that can provide all the right answers.
Our safety philosophy and mission statement is “Safety through
Education”. You can trust our University-based training to
help protect your group from fines or litigation stemming from noncompliance,
incidence of RF overexposures, or other general technical or safety
issues. Our corporate safety staff will evaluate your needs, document
your compliance program using years of field experience and insure
that you have the tools necessary to protect your business and your
employees. That’s something that is hard to put a price tag
on!
