RF Site Safety Awareness - The Internet
course, “RF Site Safety Awareness” is based on RSI’s
popular and award winning “RF Site Safety Awareness”
one-day seminar. This three course program utilizes both audio and
video to maximize the learning experience of the student. Each chapter
will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes to complete, and is followed
by a quiz. Each quiz will average 15 questions and students must
score 80% or higher to move on to the next chapter. This program
used under the supervision of a qualified person can conform to
the FCC’s and OSHA’s requirements for RF Safety Training.
Telecom Construction Safety - The "Telecom
Construction Safety™” course will provide the attendee
with a thorough understanding of the requirements of the various
safety issues that OSHA has recently concentrated on in various
enforcement actions around the country. This course is meant for
all employees that install wireless systems, construct towers, and
perform maintenance or any other activities that can take place
at telecommunications sites. This course will consist of 8 elements
with emphasis on those safety hazards that are common at rooftop
or tower communications sites.

Safety Courseware is designed to help you fill in the gaps of
your safety training program by providing you with a wide variety
of subject matter to choose from at reasonable rates, so that you
can comfortably reach your OSHA compliance training needs. As we
are all aware, the wireless industry comprises a wide set of skill
sets and tasks, ranging from warehouse operations and in-shop services
to field construction, installation and service. Our employees work
in an ever expanding environment with an ever growing level of skills
in a wide variety of fields.
Line Sweep Testing - This 3 course module covers
the concept of Line Sweep Testing, and how to use both the Anritsu
Site MasterTM or Bird Site AnalyzerTM. Students will gain knowledge
and proficiency, no matter what their skill level. A systems approach
to troubleshooting is emphasized so that all parts of the system
(the installation, operation, and repair of systems and equipment)
are considered. Student learning may be scheduled, monitored, and
documented by an assigned administrator via our Learning Manager
System (LMS) and learning records are transportable if required.
Intro to Two Way - The purpose of this course
is to provide the two way radio user, radio industry new hires and
beginning radio sales professionals with a solid understanding of
the fundamentals of two-way radio systems. Upon completion of this
course, the student will understand the various types of radio systems,
frequency ranges in which they operate, and basic radio system operations.
This course explains the fundamental parts of Two Way Radio Communication
Systems, the protocol needed to have order on the system, and the
basic operation of the radio units.
T1 Fundamentals - This course is for anyone involved
in T1 networks with responsibility to install, accept, troubleshoot
or have a thorough understanding of T1 circuits and equipment. This
course will enable you to, master the five main T1 activities, installation,
activation, acceptance, troubleshooting and network synchronization,
create and operate a CO-to-customer premises T1 link using state-of-the-art
T1 equipment, identify and resolve system failures on a fully operational
T1 network, run standard tests and test methods to isolate problems
quickly and initiate proper repair procedures, develop troubleshooting
skills in 3 main problem areas—T1 span, demarcation and customer
premises equipment.
“Introduction to Radio Antenna Systems”,
RSI’s 3 chapter online course, is overview training for site
owner/managers, new hire installer and technicians, building engineers,
and others dealing with wireless telecommunications sites. By taking
this course you will have an understanding of Antenna Basics &
Definitions, Antenna Directivity, The 3DB Rule, Antenna System,
Filters TX & RX Combiners, and Cable Propagation.
Successful completion of this “OSHA 10 hour”
module will earn the student an OSHA 10 Hour card, a RSI
SSA card and a RSI HazCom card. The SSA & HazCom cards will
be downloadable and the OSHA card provided through RSI. Recommended
course completion period is three months minimum, six months maximum.
The “Oil & Gas OSHA 10 hour”
module will earn the student an OSHA 10 Hour card.
Hazcom – This 3 Course online training class
will prepare the employees to work safely in any area that contains
batteries and chemicals. The course is designed for new hire training
and recurrent training of existing employees. Training is interactive
and each course is designed to be completed in 20-30 minutes. Each
student must receive a passing score on the test before they can
print their certificate of completion.
Personal Protection Equipment – PPE courses
affordably train your employees on the use and features of these
valuable Personal Protection Monitors, in accordance with OSHA standards.
The courses are product-specific, focusing on information about
the Narda 8600® series and RadMan XT® monitors respectively.
